Call for Vendors- Holiday Popup Shop at Irish Nobleman Chicago

Calling all local Chicago Makers, Artists, and Crafters!

Irish Nobleman Chicago is looking for a few more vendors to participate in our Holiday Popup.

WHAT?

2020 is the year of do whatever it takes right? Due to the indoor dining ban in Chicago, this summer we turned our back dining room into an ice cream shop. It was a great success in utilizing otherwise unusable space, and we saw opportunity in the face of hardship- taking advantage of the blank canvas space and big windows to offer a safe, fun, happiness inducing addition to our neighborhood. Because who doesn’t love ice cream!?

Since the indoor dining ban continues and an ice cream is pretty seasonal….

Christmas Market! A locally sourced holiday market pop-up seemed like a great way to spread some much needed holiday cheer. Since many outlets for makers have been cancelled (because, yeah, 2020) we decided to open up our popup for local makers to display and sell their goods.

We have a large outdoor dining area that is tented, astro-turffed, and heated- which will be fully decked full of holiday decorations, lights, and blow-up creatures. We’re hoping to inspire some cheer and color in a year that needs it the most.

INSIDE- people with be allowed inside our fully decked out dining room (after sanitizing their hands, and while wearing masks which fully cover their faces) to order their drinks/food, and shop our holiday market. There’s a fireplace, and holiday bulbs suspended from the ceiling, along with countless other decorations. We’re utilizing the space for maximum exposure for the vendors/retail as restaurant patrons will all see the merchandise at every visit inside. Customers will remain masked while inside, and will grab their drinks/food and head back outside to the heated tents area to eat and drink and be merry.

FOR VENDORS

We’re looking for a couple more local makers to join our holiday market in River West for the 2020 holiday season. The event is set to launch with a soft opening November 15th and run through December 23rd 2020. Space is limited, and due to COVID-19 restrictions and safety, individual vendors do not need to be present to participate. The area will be staffed and as long as all products are priced (we have inventory management software and barcode makers/scanners), they can be rang up at a central check-out. Of course we would love the human aspect and will be allowing vendors to come rep their products as often as they would like (providing not everyone is on location as the exact same time.)

No table or booth fees. We’re setting this up across the board as a consignment situation so there are no upfront costs for any of the vendors. We just want to help spread the love and cheer to as many people as we can this holiday season and contribute to keep as many people working as we can in the community and industry.

COMMUNITY

This year more than ever we are trying to help the community remember to stay focused on supporting small, local businesses who need us. The Christmas themed pop-up will also feature hand-crafted holiday beverages (such as hot buttered rum- made from scratch, hot toddy’s, hot spiked apple cider, Irish Coffee and of course a non-alcoholic warm beverage menu too!) for outdoor consumption in the heated tent areas.

The pop-up is set to run during the normal business hours of the restaurant (which are subject to change due to changing orders of the mayor and governor.) Current hours: Tues-Thur 4pm-11pm, Fri-Sun 12pm-11pm
