Craziest Burger Toppings Ever!

Irish Nobleman's Best Burger ChicagoAt The Irish Nobleman Pub, we have locally sourced, juicy brisket-chuck blend burgers that you’ll fall in love with. From our Anything But Basic to our Chicago Fire, you’re sure to find one you love, topped with artisan cheeses, fresh crisp lettuce, onions and tomatoes, and the perfect (also locally sourced and bakery fresh) brioche bun. Our toppings are definitely delicious and are the kind you’ll go for again and again.

We couldn’t help but wonder though, what weird things other burger places put on their burgers. So, we went looking and found them for you. What do you think? Yay or nay?

  1. Hot Fudge – McGuire’s Irish Pub, Pensacola, Florida

Maybe that Florida sun went to their heads, but reportedly, the folks down there go crazy for the mix of sweet and savory with toppings of vanilla ice cream drizzled with hot fudge on a Black Angus burger.

  1. Peanut Mayonnaise – Matt’s Place, Butte, Montana

  1. Bacon Grilled Cheese – Vortex Bar & Grill, Atlanta, Georgia

amsterdam-bread-breakfast-805300It sounds tasty but it’s sure to clog your arteries. This burger uses two patty melts along with a bacon grilled cheese as the buns. It contains over 7,000 calories! Better go run on the 606 for 10 days straight after that!

  1. Caviar – Serendipity 3, New York City

Known for some extravagant burgers, Serendipity 3 is home to the Le Burger Extravagant with Wagyu beef, 10-herb truffle burger, shaved black truffles, Kaluga caviar and a fried quail egg for nearly $300. For a more budget-friendly taste, try the Caviar Burger instead topped with caviar, sour cream and cucumber for less than $20.

  1. Foie Gras and Truffles – Burger Bar, Las Vegas

Another opulent choice, this burger comes with sautéed foie gras and shaved truffles. It’s much more affordable than Serendipity 3’s burger of extravagance though.

  1. Kimchi – Umami Burger, California, New York and Chicago

  1. Pizza – Nosh, Portland, Maine

Can’t decide between pizza and burgers? Then don’t Nosh uses 2 slices of pizza as buns so you get your cravings in one handy meal.

  1. Sushi – 26 Beach, Venice, California

And lastly, one of the most interesting toppings we’ve heard of is sushi! They top it with snow crab salad, sushi ginger, avocado, nori, and a mayonnaise infused with wasabi and shoyu.
